Girl’s Night Out

Our first ever “Girl’s Night Out” was held on Tuesday night, July 31. This evening was devoted to the young women of Calvary Chapel El Monte between the ages of 15 & 25. The night began with fellowship, food (catered by Petrillo’s) and a candy bar. Cynthia Garcia led us in worship and then Stephanie Saldana shared a message entitled “A Simple Trust” based on Proverbs 3:5-6 and Psalms 9:10. We ended the night with Sheila Rodriguez showing us how to paint on canvas. What a wonderful night it was!

All the sisters are encouraged to watch the study below – and join us next time, if you can.

Marriage Fellowship – May 2018

As always, we were blessed at our last Marriage Fellowship with great food, fellowship, and an enriching time in the Word. Here’s a group picture we took at the end of the night (missing Gloria and Johann) and below is the study and link to the notes if you’d like to take some time to invest in your marriage. The Men’s Fellowship BBQ was a major blessing. Over 70 guys came out on Wednesday, May 28 for a time of fellowship, breaking bread, worship and a Bible study. It’s so encouraging to see the men gather together for these events. It’s vital to be continually reminded and challenged from God’s Word about our responsibilities as God’s sons! Pastor Tony Scotti from Calvary Chapel Pasadena delivered that challenge as he taught out of 1 Corinthians 9:24-27; a study entitled, “Running our Priorities.” If you weren’t able to make it, Lord willing, you can join us next time!

Womens Spring Luncheon 2014

What a blessed time we had at this year’s Spring Women’s Luncheon! The theme of the luncheon was, “Great is Your Faithfulness.” The ladies were first fed, and then led in worship by Golden Preciado and her daughter Avalon, followed by a rich study from God’s Word given by Maureen Schaeffer.
